New Mum Style Tip: Spectation
So, when I was a lot younger, and when I say a lot younger, I mean when I was at university which was maybe three years ago, I used to wear specs.
I have 2020 vision thankfully and I don’t need specs. I don’t need glasses at all.
So why do I wear them?
Well that’s easy, because at the time I stayed up pulling all nighters all the time. I wasn’t quite the type who left my assignments for last minute, I was that person who panicked about an assignment for weeks on end and spent every night working on them over and over and over again.
That mean occasionally, okay I’ll be honest, often I would have spent the entire night wide-awake bashing away a keyboard fuelling myself with cups and cups and cups of coffee and in the morning it would be very telling on my face.
So, I learned a little trick I found a pair of specs with clear lenses. I tried them on, fell in love and adopted them as a staple of my university wardrobe.
And until this very day I still wear them! They make a very good accessory for the tired mama eyes!
✨
I’m sharing this with you today because this is an excellent style tip for new mummies or existing mummies who have sleepless nights because not only is this one of my personal tricks it is this season’s hottest accessory.
